These angels have been giving Daniel one of the most precise and terrifying revelations in scripture, mostly for the benefit of those who would read, not for Daniel. Daniel didn’t get it, but the angel promised him that some day a people who were “wise” (those who believe in Jesus) would understand. That is you and I today!
