The reference to King Cyrus of Persia is in Isaiah 44-45. It’s a fascinating read to think about God specifically naming a foreign king who would rule Israel 150 years before he was born!

Hey man, great podcast on dreams. I like how you brought other peoples experiences into it to show that different people operate in different ways. I have found that for me dreams tend to be seasonal. I will go for several weeks (sometimes a month or two) with one vivid dream after another then I will go for months without having many to speak of (or at least that I remember when I wake up). The last batch I remember having was during the summer of 2011. I think God likes to mix things up just to make sure we pay attention when they do happen and we don’t grow complacent.
Josh, I know what you mean. I do seem to have “batches” myself, and when they stop I’m always tempted to feel I messed something up. But I know God does these things sometimes and it’s up to me to stay hungry for His tender voice. He controls the seasons but I have to hunger.
