I had a dream that the Adjudication judge told me she blessed me…it seemed so real appeal hearing what could this mean?
Helen, it’s always best to ask God what your dreams mean. He’s the only one who can truly give you the answer. Spend some time in prayer today and ask God to reveal what your dream meant. If you don’t get an answer immediately, keep asking and be patient for God to speak. Sometimes God takes time so that you’ll grow through the process.
Helen, the best thing to do is to always ask the Lord. Sometimes it takes time for these things to play out. Sometimes the Lord is trying to get you to pray more about that subject. I’d ask Him what it means and don’t give up asking until you get an answer or it becomes clear.
I am so thankful God allows many to hear from him.Mr.Hibbs God Bless you.I have been dreaming since 2004,God shown me the man that He is preparing to be my husband.I have made my self known going to visit the church that he preachers at.It seems like nothing is happening,I have tried to move on ,each and every time I try and date I start dreaming again about the same man.I am spritually angry now.cause none of this is making any sense.I never dreamed of so much emotional agony. Please help, believe it or not many think I have lost my mind in my family because I am not sleeping around.Because I shared my dream to some I thought I could trust they turn their back on me.
setapart,
I’m so sorry that you’ve been going through this. First of all, don’t stop asking the Lord for dreams. Understanding them and wading through what the Lord is and isn’t saying is a challenge that is worth the hearing from the Lord!
With that said, I am always very, very cautious about any dreams or revelations I believe I have when they have to do with very emotionally charged areas of my life. Specifically, I do not act upon any dreams, revelations, etc. that have to do with marriage, children, jobs, money, houses or other relationships unless someone else comes and tells ME FIRST what the Lord has already spoken to me.
I am very cautious about that because our emotions are the most powerful part of our psyche. We must be very careful not to permit ourselves to rationalize that our emotions and deep desires are necessarily the Lord’s.
With that said, I will not tell you whether or not you’ve heard from God in your dreams. If you have, then the Lord will take care of it. Your job is not to force it to happen if it is the Lord, but to pray it in. Remember that Abraham had a very clear revelation from God about a son, but he took it upon himself to fulfill God’s prophecy–it didn’t turn out well for him or his family. Don’t force it!–Give it over to God in prayer. Ask for peace, patience and character. And way to go not sleeping around. It matters to God. Keep it up!
Again, when my emotions have been involved related to a dream, I have turned the issue over to the Lord and asked for confirmation. The ONLY confirmation I trust is when someone else, who doesn’t know anything about my dream, comes and tells me EXACTLY what the Lord spoke to me about. The Lord has given me several of those types of encounters and I am eternally thankful that in those situations I didn’t try to force anything–I only would have messed it up.
Keep chasing after God, but don’t be in such a rush that you do something rash. Give it to Him in prayer and ask for confirmation you can trust is really God.
