Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh

Why didn’t the Magi go straight to Bethlehem in their search for Jesus? If you were looking for the one born King of the Jews, wouldn’t you go to the royal palace in Jerusalem? Who would have thought to look for the Jewish Messiah in a poor man’s house in the little town of Bethlehem?

But they found Him. And they showered Him with gifts. Gifts that would support Him for years to come.
